Privacy Policy
This policy covers Ownstage QR at qr.ownstage.app, operated by Ownstage Event Solutions (“we”, “us”). It does not replace policies for other Ownstage products; see ownstage.app for the main marketing site.
What we collect
- Account: email address and a hashed password when you sign up.
- QR codes you create: destination URLs, optional labels, short-link IDs, and timestamps.
- Technical data: IP address, request metadata, and security logs from our host (Cloudflare) when you use the app or when someone scans a redirect link.
Cookies and local storage
We use one essential session cookie (osqr_session) so you stay
signed in. It is HttpOnly and not used for advertising. We do not use analytics or marketing
cookies on this app.
If you add an optional center image on a QR code, that image is stored only in your browser’s local storage on your device — not on our servers.
How we use data
- Run the service (host QR redirects, save your codes, authenticate you).
- Prevent abuse and keep the service secure.
- Comply with law and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing
Data is processed on Cloudflare’s infrastructure. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.
Retention
We keep account and QR data while your account is active. You may delete individual QR codes from the dashboard. Contact us to request account deletion.
Security
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure.
Your choices
You can use the app without optional labels. For access, correction, or deletion requests, email eva@ownstage.app.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 16.

We may update this policy; the date above will change when we do.
